
Madron is situated North of Penzance in West Cornwall. Set in beautiful moorland scenery between the North and South Coast. In the north of the parish it is possible to see the sea on both sides. The history of Madron goes back 3,000 years or more. Here you can find numerous archaeological sites where past generations have lived and worked going back 6,000 years and more. St.Maddern Church is the mother church of Penzance.

Preparations are being made for events in Madron to celebrate the founding of Madron School by John Daniel in 1710 and Landithy Hall in 1910.
Anyone with connections and or documents or pictures concerning Madron Parish over the last 300 years are invited to contribute towards the celebrations. They will find information and contacts on the 300 Year button on the left of this page.
